I had waited for this for over two months – I couldn’t believe that he hadn’t told me before that he wasn’t even going out with that mousey-haired girl in Personnel. I had to convince him to meet me straight at Giovanni’s rather than wait at the reception at work – imagine the gossip? (and what if things didn’t work out?) We came back to my place. I had managed to tidy the mess the previous day – actually chucked everything into the spare room.
